Pass Strub Fortress Lofer
The Pass Strub is located at 675m and connects the towns of Lofer in the state of Salzburg with Waidring in Tyrol.
The pass was heavily fought for during the Napoleonic Wars in 1809. Remains of the border fortifications against Tyrol, watch-house, blocking wall ruins and a chapel can be visited at any time.
